Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol 1+ Year in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through clear communication, accurate reporting, and a customer-first approach when assisting employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have 1+ Years of Security Experience.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• State, County, or City Issued Security License is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, unsecured doors, and/or suspicious conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor traffic, check identification and/or credentials as required, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, notifications to appropriate parties, and coordination with on-site teams.
• Document security-related activities, patrol observations, incidents, and/or unusual conditions in reports and logs, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
