As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech and media locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with attention to the unique needs of a tech, media, and telecom location.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with on-site personnel and/or visitors, offering assistance and guidance as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as required by the location.
Stay informed about site-specific protocols and emergency procedures, participating in training sessions as directed by Allied Universal.
