Security Officer - Full-Time Unarmed Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Full-Time Unarmed Patrol in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and visitors with strong customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations and events. Requirements
- Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific policies, access procedures, and security-related protocols, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, offices, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry points, visitor traffic, and deliveries; verify identification and/or authorization as required and assist with directing guests to appropriate areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide assistance to employees and visitors as needed and notify appropriate contacts.
- Complete detailed reports of daily activity, patrol observations, and incident response actions; communicate relevant updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
