About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site teams, and provide customer service while responding to concerns. Requirements
- Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Control access by checking identification, managing visitor sign-in and/or badging, and coordinating deliveries and contractor entry in accordance with site requirements.
- Complete detailed shift documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and equipment or maintenance notifications, and communicate observations during shift handoff.
