We are looking for a Facility Security Officer to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location. Your Responsibilities: Assuming the role as the Facility Security Officer (FSO), you will manage all tasks associated with Industrial Security for the facility as well as certain Information Technology functions that relate to the security of the facility. Must be capable of coordinating all efforts related to the security of sensitive projects and programs and act as the primary liaison with upper management, customers, and government agencies. Your Challenge: Manage all aspects of Industrial Security at the Curtiss-Wright EMD site, to include physical security, personnel security, and information security Supervise and direct security measures necessary for the implementation of policies and procedures pertaining to the industrial security program at the site. Interface with the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) for the site, assisting all efforts related to the insider threat program to include local policy, program management, and meeting government requirements Direct compliance efforts at the facility in accordance with government regulations such as 32 CFR Part 117 (the “NISPOM Rule”), NN-801 or OPNAVINST N9210.3 as well as other regulations imposed by the Department of Defense, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, additional customer requirements, company standards, and government sponsor regulations Primary contact for all new personnel to the facility, managing all aspects of the security onboarding process to include the Security Onboarding presentation, distribution and coordination of required onboarding forms, and coordination with managers and lead personnel hiring new employees Manage all efforts associated with physical security, to include activities relating to the closed-circuit television system, general physical security controls throughout the facility, physical security checks and monitoring, badging and restricted area access management, incident response and management, and the development of new secure areas Manage efforts associated with incident response, threat mitigation, performing risk assessments, asset management, and inventory management Manage all Industrial Security matters associated with safeguarding and information security. Assist the Corporate Facility Security Officer in coordination efforts with local, regional, and federal law enforcement to include collaboration, supporting active investigations, enacting preventative measures, and managing personnel security matters Conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, and implement security measures to meet requirements Lead efforts associated with the coordination of visitors to the facility, managing foreign nationals and their access throughout the facility, assist with witness points and tours of the facility, and ensure compliance with the approvals and paperwork associated with visitors and foreign nationals Primary contact for government cognizant agencies such as the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency, collaborator with other federal agencies, interacts with other sponsors and customers of the site, and ensures compliance both internally and externally Communicate and manage leadership efforts of the Security Department, to include interactions with senior management, attending leadership meetings within our organization, and reaching out to other managers and leads in regard to personnel security matters Develop and manage security training program; ensure site personnel are completing and maintaining required security education and training based on roles, responsibilities, and access levels Maintain all appropriate certifications and training requirements as an FSO Ensure implementation and accuracy of all security related directives, manuals, security plans, and governing documents Direct, revise, and provide recommendations as necessary What you Bring: Due to DoD requirements, candidates must be US citizens Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals to the Top Secret Level through both the Department of Defense and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Bachelor’s Degree required Six to eight years of relevant Security experience Previous experience managing personnel, efforts, and budgets preferred Applicable Security certifications preferred (i.e. ISP®, Security+, CISSP®, or equivalent) Experience in creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate Extensive experience with classified environments, as well as classified and unclassified networks Well-versed in facility clearance requirements COMSEC Custodian certificate or experience preferred Self-starter with ability to work independently, customer service orientated Ability to interpret company and government security policies and apply them to program operations Must be highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent time management and multitasking skills #LI-MO1 Who we are: Our Values Environmental, Social and Governance EMD a business unit of Curtiss-Wright in Cheswick, PA designs, manufactures, tests, and provides after-market support for the most advanced, proven and reliable critical function pumps, motors, generators, seals, control rod drive mechanisms and power conditioning electronics available anywhere in the world today.
