Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Tech Tower in Culver City, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology-focused location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving position, where you will conduct routine patrols and interact with employees and visitors, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and people-first culture.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
Communicate clearly with team members and site staff regarding security-related matters and observations.
Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and assisting visitors as required.
Remain alert to changes in the environment and adapt to varying working conditions typical of a technology and media location.
