About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Tech Sector in Joplin, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping in mind the unique needs of a technology-focused location.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to provide assistance and information as needed.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with access control at designated points.
