Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and support. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or potential issues.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any concerns according to established protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Document and report incidents, observations, and activities clearly and promptly as required by Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs specific to a technology, media, and telecom environment.
