About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Team Lead in Flushing, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas at this location, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents to the appropriate personnel as outlined in site protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific guidelines.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during events and/or high-traffic periods by maintaining a visible presence and addressing security-related matters as needed.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
