Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas for unusual activity, assist with visitor and vendor access procedures, and report maintenance, life protection, and/or property-related issues through proper channels.
Support daily operations by following Allied Universal post orders, observing site-specific policies, and completing routine reports, logs, and/or incident documentation in a timely manner.
