Requirements
- Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response guidelines at a technology and communications location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help support authorized access, visitor processing, and compliance with location policies and procedures.
- Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and communication of maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols and post assignments.
