Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in DAKOTA CITY, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication, responding promptly to any concerns. Requirements
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, including production and storage areas.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious activity within the food and beverage location.
- Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.
- Maintain awareness of site-specific protocols related to food and beverage operations, including any additional requirements for cleanliness or restricted areas.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
