About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Crete, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Document observations and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents according to established protocols.
Monitor entrances, exits, and loading docks to help to deter unauthorized access and protect company property.
Communicate with staff, visitors, and/or vendors in a professional manner while upholding site policies.
Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Maintain awareness of environmental and operational factors unique to food and beverage locations while performing patrols.
