Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Liaison in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional communication and customer service, document observations, and respond to alarms and requests for assistance. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, and parking areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by verifying authorization, issuing badges as directed, and documenting entries and exits according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical-related disturbances, disruptive behavior, and facility alarms, and notify appropriate personnel as required.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate observations to site leadership, and support security-related investigations by preserving relevant information in accordance with policy.
