About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Response in Berkeley, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter potential risks and identify any unusual activity.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.
Document and report any observed incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal procedures.
Work collaboratively with other team members and client personnel to address security-related concerns and support site operations.
Assist with access control processes, visitor management, and monitoring of entry and exit points as required by site policies.
