Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Three Rivers, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly with site leaders and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license, backed by Allied Universal values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, and/or access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying identification, directing visitor check-in procedures, and/or confirming delivery and contractor authorizations per site requirements.
• Complete shift documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and other site-required records, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
