As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Fort Wayne, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic construction location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and integrity. Requirements

  • Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, vendors, and site personnel by following post orders, access procedures, and site-specific security-related policies at an active construction location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, perimeter, staging areas, and entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Monitor gates, fencing, equipment areas, and temporary structures, document observations, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and security-related issues according to site protocols.
  • Assist with checking credentials, controlling entry and exit activity, and maintaining accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation for daily operations.
