You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, respond to security-related concerns, and provide strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment.
  • Monitor access points and public areas for unusual activity, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with directions, escorts, and/or de-escalation support as requested.
  • Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to the supervisor and/or site contacts, and help maintain accurate security-related logs and post orders.
