Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Malvern, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and an armed post supporting rapid, coordinated response. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hold an Act 235 Qualification in Pennsylvania only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite leadership and local law enforcement as required.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting suspicious activity.
  • Control access by monitoring doors, gates and other controlled points, verifying credentials, and directing employees, visitors and vendors according to post orders.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and shift logs, operate security-related systems such as CCTV and access control, and maintain assigned equipment according to policy and training.
