As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations through approved channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.
Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification, logging entries and exits, and directing traffic and/or deliveries according to site procedures.
Complete detailed reports and logs, document security-related activities, and communicate with supervision and onsite contacts using radios, phones, and/or other approved systems.
