As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a residential community, you will conduct visible vehicle patrols and routine checks to help identify and report security-related concerns, support access control procedures, and respond to resident questions with professional customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU driver policy requirements. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout residential streets, common areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or policy concerns.
Monitor access points and community amenities, verify visitor and vendor authorization when required, and communicate directions and community guidelines in a professional manner.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate assistance, providing clear scene information, and supporting resident needs.
Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and follow established escalation and notification procedures.
