As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and engaging with customers and staff. This driving position allows you to be an integral part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, while delivering exceptional customer service and upholding the highest standards of integrity.

Requirements

Must have a valid drivers license
Walk / stand long periods of time
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail or mall location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report suspicious activities and/or persons within the location to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and direct visitors or employees as needed within the retail or mall environment.
Support emergency response activities as required by the site and Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of incidents and daily activities as part of security-related responsibilities.
