About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a fast-paced tech location, you will conduct routine patrols and drive between assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and quick response, backed by Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring culture, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, offices, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, documenting conditions and reporting concerns.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, alarms, suspicious activity, and/or disruptive behavior, and notify on-site management and/or public responders as needed.
  • Monitor access control points such as entrances, badge-controlled doors, and delivery areas, assisting with visitor processing, employee directions, and contractor check-in per site requirements.
  • Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, communicate observations during shift handoffs, and assist site teams with security-related requests while maintaining a professional presence.
