As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-energy automotive manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity using a computer and/or tablet, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be 21 or more years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with notifications, basic scene management, and documentation.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking lots, and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor check-in processes, verify credentials as required, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
Complete detailed shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support handoff briefings between shifts.
