Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an education location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so you may patrol across campus areas by vehicle while documenting activity and partnering with your team with agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter, noting and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and medical situations until additional help arrives.
Monitor and document access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor direction and general wayfinding at the location.
Complete detailed reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, and communicate timely information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
