About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver Nights in Swedesboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, report concerns clearly, and deliver customer-focused service to employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with access control by observing entries and exits, verifying authorization as directed, and/or documenting visitor and contractor activity per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services per post orders.
- Complete accurate reports and logs, communicate notable activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
