Requirements

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • CPR and/or First Aid Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access by monitoring entry points, validating identification and/or badges, managing visitor check-in, and directing individuals to proper areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting irregular conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or communication systems, complete routine reports and logs, and relay security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
