You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, support access control and incident reporting, and deliver helpful customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. You will represent a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

• Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• 21+ Years of Age is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, and report maintenance and/or hazard concerns to appropriate contacts.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or building systems, respond to notifications, and document observations and actions taken per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Control access by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry logs, and completing clear, timely reports using required systems.
