Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Chemical Site in Gibbstown, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical or petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with personnel, respond to situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment. Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the chemical and petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the facility.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials of personnel and/or visitors entering the location.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related incidents, patrols, and observations as required by site protocols.
  • Support site operations by providing a visible security-related presence and assisting with any security-related requests from site management.
