About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Banking in Austin, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances and exits, checking for proper identification and reporting any suspicious activity as required.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of site policies to help to maintain a secure environment.
Collaborate with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
