You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will document activity, assist employees and visitors, and use teamwork and integrity to deliver reliable, people-first service in a fast-moving, innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to onsite employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, post orders, and site-specific, security-related policies and/or access requirements.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, loading areas, and parking areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, alarms, cameras, and other site systems as assigned; document unusual conditions and report concerns through the designated chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; request emergency services when needed and support site evacuations and/or shelter-in-place actions.
  • Complete shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation with accurate details; communicate status updates during shift turnover and/or when directed by supervision.
