Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Associate
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Associate in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
- A Guard Card and/or security license preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including building corridors, common areas, stairwells, loading and service areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, documenting and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to post orders.
- Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, support de-escalation when needed, and assist with coordination of emergency services and/or building management during response activities.
