Requirements

• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing authorized visitors to the proper contact.
• Monitor and document inbound and outbound vehicle and pedestrian traffic as required, including screening deliveries and coordinating with site contacts for access approval.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting site response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, noting hazards or irregular conditions and reporting them per site procedure.
