You will conduct routine rounds, document observations, and support access points while delivering standout customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech, media, and/or telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, vendors, and contractors, directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and supporting first responders as needed.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate notable activity to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts, and assist with basic security-related administrative tasks as assigned.
