As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, professional service, and timely reporting. Requirements

• Hospital vaccines is required.
• Hospital morgue is required.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Hospital restrain individuals is required.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, visitor issues, and access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, including observing for unauthorized entry and/or restricted area access, and reporting concerns per site procedures.
• Complete reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding incidents, observations, and patrol findings, following required documentation practices.
