About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Patrol in New Bern, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence and dedication to exceptional customer service will create a welcoming environment for all. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure atmosphere.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the manufacturing and industrial location to help control access and observe any unusual activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
Collaborate with site staff and other Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and provide a visible presence throughout the location.
Support adherence to site-specific procedures and participate in ongoing training related to security-related roles and responsibilities.
