As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding to situations as they arise. You will maintain a visible presence, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly with employees and visitors. Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
- Interact with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner while upholding site-specific policies.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site procedures.
- Support Allied Universal in maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related issues within the location.
