As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide assistance to visitors and staff. Requirements

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and around the perimeter to help to deter potential security-related issues and provide a visible presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the retail environment.
Work collaboratively with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and provide support as needed.
Document and communicate incidents, observations, and daily activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
