About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Logistics Patrol Driver in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and critical areas within the location to help to deter unwanted activity and report any irregularities.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or authorizations as required by site-specific procedures.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members during routine activities and/or emergencies.
