Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor for any unusual activity or potential hazards during patrols and report findings according to site procedures.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior within the logistics and distribution environment.
Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
