You will support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication while reporting concerns and following site procedures. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying clinical staff, management, and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance concerns for follow-up.
• Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access where required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in areas and/or destinations.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and patrol observations in logs and reports, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and handoffs.
