Job Description As a Security Officer – Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Northport, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any irregularities.
Document observations and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with staff and visitors to support a secure environment within the healthcare setting.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter potential problems and provide assistance when necessary.
