About The Position

All Pro Security, a veteran-operated security company, and listed on the Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest-growing companies in the U.S., is seeking a motivated and professional part-time unarmed security officer to join our Seattle team. These positions will primarily support King County Metro Transit operations, potentially with additional opportunities at non-transit sites across the Seattle metro area. Officers for these positions must already possess their security license in the state of Washington, have a valid driver's license with a clean record, pass a background and drug test, and be over the age of 21 prior to applying to be considered. Requirements

  • Valid WA State Unarmed Guard License (DOL activated) - required before hire.
  • Valid Washington State driver's license with a clean driving record as driving is an essential function for this position.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • You must be 21 or over prior to starting employment for this position.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Professional appearance, dependable work ethic, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior security, law enforcement, or customer-facing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct foot and vehicle patrols of transit hubs, platforms, park-and-rides, and other assigned areas.
  • Deter criminal activity, disruptive behavior, and safety hazards through high-visibility patrols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting riders with directions, information, and general support.
  • Enforce King County Metro Transit rules of conduct and APS post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, write accurate reports, and communicate effectively with supervisors, transit staff, and law enforcement when required.
  • Maintain a professional, approachable presence at all times—especially in high-traffic public areas.
