As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, yards, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, vendors, and delivery vehicles, verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and reporting irregularities involving restricted areas or materials.
• Support access control and site rules by observing operations, communicating with site contacts, and completing required logs, reports, and shift pass-down information.
