About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrols in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for unusual conditions.
Observe and report on security-related matters, documenting incidents and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Support emergency response protocols, including assisting with evacuations and directing individuals as appropriate.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address security-related concerns and provide information as needed.
