As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Maintain awareness of the surroundings and provide a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity at the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding Allied Universal standards.
