Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Wilson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and provide customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have at least 6+ months of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access points; control entry for authorized personnel and deliveries by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials when required, and maintaining professional logs.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when possible and coordinating with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, communicate key information during post handoff, and support Allied Universal and site management with inspections and other assigned security-related duties.
