As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a technology-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams on site, and deliver customer-focused support to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support access control by monitoring entry points, verifying identification and/or access authorization, managing visitor check-in and directing foot and vehicle traffic as needed.
• Monitor alarms, cameras and/or communications systems, document observations and incidents, and complete reports and logs according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
