About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Rounds in Gresham, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-tech manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors and personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access requirements, and other security-related policies within an industrial manufacturing location.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and coordinating with on-site management and/or emergency services as directed.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of arrivals, departures, deliveries, and contractor activity.
Complete detailed incident reports, patrol activity reports, and shift documentation, and communicate observations and handoffs to the next shift and/or site leadership.
