About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Agent in BURLINGTON, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including storefronts, common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help support a secure shopping and working environment.
Assist with access control, closing procedures, and/or crowd management during busy periods, special events, and store opening or closing hours.
